Swiss Pine Wooden Ball

The hand-turned ball made of solid Swiss pine wood is both a "hand comforter" and a carafe stopper – a small piece of Schnals Valley for every day.

On beverage carafes and similar glass containers, the ball naturally keeps the rim clean, as Swiss pine wood has a slightly antibacterial effect. It also releases its fine essential oils into the water. Each ball is turned in our workshop and showcases its own unique grain.

Available in two sizes – suitable for our carafes or simply as a fragrant companion on your desk.

Material: All our products are made from solid Swiss pine (Pinus cembra), which grows in the Schnals Valley at an altitude of 1,700–2,000 m – untreated and natural, so that the beneficial Swiss pine scent can unfold freely. Textile products such as pillows are filled with selected fabrics and hand-planed Swiss pine shavings.

Wood care: Wipe your Swiss pine item with a dry or slightly damp cloth – please do not soak and do not put it in the dishwasher. Rinse cutting boards briefly with warm water after use and let them dry thoroughly. If the scent fades after years, simply lightly sand the surface with fine sandpaper – and the Swiss pine will smell like new again.

Cushion & textile care: Wash the cover gently if necessary. Occasionally fluff up the Swiss pine flakes inside and air out the cushion; the filling can be renewed after about 1.5 years with our refill pack.

Good to know: Each piece is a handmade natural product – grain, knot pattern and color may vary slightly. This is exactly what makes your piece unique.
